This era was marked by jewellers who took their time creating genuine masterpieces, allowing their clients to wear objects of unique, avant-garde art.

Some names are familiar; Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron and Bulgari. Others less so, but equally precious, such as Sterle, Marchak, Rene Boivin and Suzanne Belperron to name a few.
